Titanium Washer
GR5 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) is selected, offering the dual advantages of high strength and lightweight:
Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength ≥895 MPa, yield strength ≥825 MPa, hardness HRC 30-35, capable of withstanding bolt preloads up to 1200 N without plastic deformation; elongation at break ≥10%, suitable for dynamic vibration environments (such as motorcycle engines and aviation equipment).
Corrosion Resistance: A 5-10 μm oxide film naturally forms on the surface, with a corrosion rate of ≤0.0005 mm/year in seawater and acid-base solutions (pH 1-14), over 100 times better than 316L stainless steel. Suitable for sealing marine and chemical pipelines.
Lightweight: With a density of 4.51 g/cm³, it is 43% lighter than a stainless steel washer of the same specification (7.9 g/cm³), reducing the inertial load on equipment during operation.
