Machined from forged GR5 titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V), these screws possess mechanical properties suited to the rigorous operating conditions of motorcycle engines:
Strength: Tensile strength ≥895 MPa, yield strength ≥825 MPa, and elongation at break ≥10%, ensuring the threads remain free of plastic deformation during frequent assembly and disassembly.
Corrosion Resistance: A 5-10μm oxide film is formed on the surface through pickling and passivation. The corrosion rate is less than 0.005mm/year in engine oil and high-temperature water vapor environments, eliminating the rust and seizure issues associated with traditional steel screws.
Lightweight Advantage: With a density of only 4.51g/cm³, these screws are 43% lighter than comparable stainless steel screws (density 7.9g/cm³), reducing unsprung engine mass and improving handling response.
