Titanium Bolts

Core Purpose

Titanium bolts are widely used in the following fields due to their low density (4.51g/cm³), high specific strength (strength/density is 1.4 times that of stainless steel) and corrosion resistance (corrosion rate <0.01mm/year):

1. Aerospace and High-end Manufacturing

Spacecraft/Aircraft: For structural fasteners, such as fuselage frames and engine casing connections, TC4 alloy bolts (compliant with HB 6568) are used. They meet wide operating temperatures of -196°C to 600°C and high strength requirements of 1100 MPa.

Precision Instruments: For medical equipment (artificial joint components) and optical instruments (telescope mounts), GR2 pure titanium bolts are selected. Their biocompatibility complies with ISO 10993.

2. Chemical Industry and Corrosive Environments

Chlor-alkali/Acid Cleaning Industry: For flange connections in electrolytic cells and reactors, GR2 bolts are resistant to chloride ion and nitric acid corrosion, and can replace stainless steel to avoid intergranular corrosion.

Marine Engineering: For desalination equipment and offshore platform piping, titanium bolts are resistant to seawater erosion and, with PTFE coating for sealing, are suitable for deep-sea pressure conditions up to 3,000 meters. 3. Civilian and Specialty Applications

Transportation Equipment: Motorcycle and bicycle frame fastening (GR5 bolts, DIN 912 standard), 30% weight reduction and improved salt spray resistance (5000 hours of rust-free);Electronics and New Energy: Hydrogen fuel cell bipolar plate connections, TA1 pure titanium bolts with conductivity >10⁴ S/m and thickness tolerance ±0.05mm.
