Titanium Square Bar

Titanium Square Bar

Titanium square bars are primarily used in corrosion-resistant hangers in the electroplating industry (such as in aluminum oxidation and pickling processes), acid- and alkali-resistant structural components in the chemical industry, high-specific-strength parts in machinery manufacturing, and key components in the aerospace, medical, seawater desalination, and petrochemical industries. Common sizes include 6×6, 8×8, 10×10, 12×12, 14×14, 20×20, and 25×25 mm, with lengths generally ranging from 300 to 4000 mm. Standards (ASTM B381 and ASTM B348) specify a square bar side length range of 30.0 mm to 450.0 mm, with tolerances up to h9.

Main ApplicationsPrimarily used for stamping parts and corrosion-resistant structural parts operating at temperatures below 350°C, where high plasticity is required despite low stress, such as aircraft frames, ship piping, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation towers, coolers, ion pumps, and compressor valves. Gr1 is generally used in industry for high formability requirements, Gr3 for wear resistance and high strength, and Gr2 is the most widely used.
